In order to get the treasure, you need to lure the Bulblax into the water to extinguish it. Fighting it head on can be tricky, but with a spray or some knowledge on how to predict the Grub Dog's actions, it can be taken down. Sometimes, the Bulblax will be in the water from the start, drastically shortening the time taken to fight the beast.
