The fight against the Emperor Bulblax is practically identical to the fight in the first game: dodging its tongue and tricking it into devouring bomb-rocks instead of your Pikmin. After tossing a bomb-rock at it and successfully tricking into eating it (note that when it licks rather than bites, it cannot eat bomb-rocks), throw all of your Pikmin at its head, defeat the [[Crumbug|Crumbugs]] and [[Sparrowhead|Sparrowheads]] it summons, rinse and repeat. After about 3 attacks, the Emperor Bulblax should be defeated. Collect the [[teeny power plant|Teeny Power Plant]] it drops to finish the level. | |||
