+The first time I saw the screenshot of the Empress Bulblax was on a site called PIKMIN ONION!!! and they called it a "Sausageborb" which honestly would've been such a better name. Plus, the picture made it look like it actually chased after and ate your Pikmin! I thought to myself "gee I'd hate to run into that thing!" and it was a pushover in the actual game.
