'''Raw materials''' are collectible items in {{p4}}. They appear as light blue pebbles and are mainly found in piles around [[area]]s and [[cave]]s, but can also be found from completing [[Mission (Pikmin 4)|mission,]], destroying [[obstacle]]s, defeating certain [[Enemy|enemies]], or digging in [[dirt-mound]]s. To collect them, they must be carried to the [[S.S. Beagle]], with each Pikmin carrying 1 raw material at a time. If not enough Pikmin are sent to carry all the raw materials in a pile, they will walk back and forth between the pile and the S.S. Beagle until the pile is depleted, and all Pikmin will wait at the S.S. Beagle when they are done. Raw materials can be used to buy [[gear]] and [[Pack#List of items|item]]s, and can be converted to [[clay]] for use in building structures.
