The Sputtlefish is a squid-like poisonous enemy found underwater. It has been seen that the Sputtlefish can lash out on Pikmin and eat them one at a time alongside releasing either ink or poison whenever they are attacked. It was one of the first few new enemies to be seen during the 2012 E3 trailer for Pikmin 3.
