Curiously, I can't seem to find any info on just how many Pikmin can be sprouted in the first game outside of Challenge Mode, given the 30 day time limit. I see "High Pikmin Count" in the Challenge run section, but has anyone ever actually done the math to determine the maximum number of Pikmin growable on each of the 30 days, with or without getting a non-bad ending? --

Low-day run articles
Pikipedia has several articles describing low-day runs. These are the 5 day run for Pikmin 2, the 6 day run for Pikmin, and the 7 day run and 10 day run for Pikmin 3. The 5-day run and 6-day run pages have been moved multiple times as the minimum number of days has decreased, and arguably the 10-day run page should have been moved since a 9-day run is now possible, just extremely difficult. There is no low-day run article for Pikmin 4 yet, as there are multiple runs for different levels of completion – 9 days for rescuing Olimar, 13 days for curing Oatchi, 14 days for completing all areas 100%, and 33 days for completing all missions. This raises the question of how to document these. Should there be separate articles for each, or 1 article covering all 4 challenges? I think the latter option is better, because separate articles would have a lot of overlapping content. But if we had a "Pikmin 4 low-day run" article, what if we did the same thing for the other games? This would have the advantage of being able to describe multiple variants of the challenge on the same page. A 5-day run of Pikmin 2 requires difficult glitches to do and an 8-day run is more feasible, so both challenges could be described on the same page, showing both the theoretical limit and a practical guide. The Pikmin 3 low-day run article could cover the 7-day, 9-day, and 10-day challenges. This would also provide an opportunity to rethink the structure of these pages, which are currently mostly strategy guides. What do people think of this idea? — Soprano(talk) 17:28, February 1, 2024 (EST)
