::Eintsein's theory of relativity states that time goes slower in higher gravitational fields, so when Olimar left the pikmin planet, time that went for him regularly was actually a lot more time for the pikmin, this explains why in his short time of being gone, so much happened. In other words, he may have been gone for 100+ years. I may be wrong and I might have it backwards. But if this is correct, it would explain the suppossed collapse of the FN and the shifts that made the VoR. This would also explain all of the differences in the other areas as well. | |||

It's a possibility, and if that was the case then perhaps the Awakening Wood is the forest around the Impact Site... there's just so much controversy about what levels are which that I generally can't count on any single theory, kind of like the Zelda timeline. So confusing.
