Hello, people of the Pikmin Wiki!

Who Am I?

I'm a huge fan of the Pikmin series, and I hope I can do my share to make this wiki more accurate.

I love taking observations in the strange univerese that is Pikmin and drawing conclusions, or proposing theories that may explain something significant, or may just be interesting to know. Science can explain almost anything when looking at these games!

Facts about me and Pikmin:

My favourite of the games is Pikmin 2, but believe me, it's not easy to choose.

My favourite type of Pikmin is Blue.

My favourite enemy in the Pikmin series is the Beady Long Legs (shame that it's not in Pikmin 3).

My first experience with Pikmin was when I played the "New Play Controls" version on the Wii, and now I can't stop playing, or even thinking about the games.

What Do I Do? 

I am an aspiring entomologist, and ornithologist, and I love ecology in general. Imagine my surprise when a vidogame seemed to incorporate some of these aspects into its seemingly far-fetched universe. I try to learn as much as possible about the inhabitants of PNF-404, as well as the events that occur on the planet's surface. With that, I draw connections to real life, and try to make the Pikmin Universe more than a virtual one. After all, the series does take place on Earth, no matter how far in the future it may be.

I also play the games just for enjoyment. Pikmin and Pikmin 2 were of the best GameCube games, and Pikmin 3 currently stands unrivaled on the Wii U in my opinion.

Why "Scittery_Leaves?"

My username comes from two things:

1) I always feel sorry for killing a Skitter Leaf. They're harmless; talk about killing a mocking bird. This obliged me to recognize them in one way or another.

2) I believe that "Skitter Leaf" should be spelled "Scitter Leaf."
