Unknown Enemy 10 is a moth-like monster that was revealed from the Nintendo Direct aired on 12.5.12. It has hairs growing from its head which light up pink when disturbed. Its wings are orange on the outside and beige on the inside. Its legs are yellow, as well as its eyes. Their mouth is very similar to an orca whale's. It attacks by sucking in air, causing a vortex to form. Any Pikmin who enters the vortex is trapped, and Pikmin are sucked into the Unknown Enemie's mouth one by one.
Rock Pikmin don't seem to be lifted by the vortex's suction power. In the trailer, only the red and yellow pikmin are seen eaten.
