The Solar-Powered Computing Machine is a treasure in Pikmin 4. It is actually a solar-powered calculator.

Collecting the treasure

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Solar-Powered Computing Machine is hidden in the grass at the right side of Sublevel 1 of the Plunder Palace in the Hero's Hideaway. To collect this treasure, you must throw 5 Pikmin at it. A nearby Breadbug may attempt to steal it, in which case you will need to either damage it or best it in tug-of-war.

Notes

Schnauz's Notes

This enormous computing machine not only allows for complex number crunching but ensures these critical calculations can be completed whenever needed. Note the enormous solar cell that powers it. Whoever built this marvel has harnessed the incandescent fury of the sun itself...and used it for math!

Olimar's Notes

I may be able to embed this on the wall of the ship's computer room. It could be useful for making manual calculations should the ship's AI ever crash unexpectedly. Space pilots need to be prepared for any emergency, and I'll take all the help I can get.

Louie's Notes

I'm not sure if I'm using this thing correctly. It looks like it has buttons, but they can't be pushed.
