The Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat is an enemy in Pikmin 2. They resemble large, blue, floating jellyfish with yellow spots that float through the air. They attack the Pikmin by inhaling them and trapping them inside. The Pikmin will then be digested over a considerably long period of time, but can be saved by defeating it. Killing methods
Pikmin
It is vulnerable on all parts of its body, and has moderately low health. Purple Pikmin will automatically make this creature fall due to their weight, they are also good for defeating it, as stunning it will prevent it from getting back into air. When defeated, all undigested Pikmin will be recovered.
Captains
The only way to kill a Jellyfloat without Pikmin is to allow a nearby Bumbling Snitchbug to pick the captain up. If it floats over or very close to the Jellyfloat, the captain can attack the creature in midair while the Bumbling Snitchbug is holding him.
