A veteran pilot like me spends a lot of his life in space. I want to go home, to be with my family and my dog, but there are times when my trip home is unavoidably delayed. My wife doesn't mind, fortunately. "Take however long you need to," she always says. "I'm perfectly fine here on my own." She's very supportive...in her own way.
