Time zones?

I checked my Switch 2 this morning and saw that while I got the update for Pikmin 4 that added Onion Decor, 2 hasn't gotten the Decor Pikmin update yet. Since I live in EST, I was wondering if they were sending the patches out in waves? If so, about what time should I expect it? I was really confused yesterday!

Yesterday I went through waves of confusion until I looked at the image descriptions (I was lead there by an edit after we ping-ponged revisions about it not being an April fools joke) I also ping-ponged through believing and not believing (also I knew the version number was intentional, it's just that I thought that if I changed it, it would trick way more people – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.96.73.131 • (talk) • (contribs)

For the version number, it was chosen as 1.4.0 due to being likely farther beyond any update P2S would ever received. I don't think it's that blatant of a giveaway either. I don't have much confidence that there are many people who know the game's update history intimately enough for it to be an issue. Also sorry for not clearly clarifying about the status of this article sooner, I was trying to keep kayfabe intact until the article was made clear of its April Fool's status. -Gulliblepikmin 22:06, April 2, 2026 (UTC)
