"まねきしもの" is
*not "{{j|真似|mane}}(fake)" + "きし(?)" + "{{j|もの|mono}}(thing)",
*but "{{j|招き|}}(invite, gather)" + "{{j|し|shi}}(An old auxiliary verb, uses for to express past action.)" + "{{j|もの|mono}}(thing)".
So current name should be wrong, and maybe "(Animal) Gathering thing" is better, according to Olimer and Ship's notes.
