Info

This template allows putting information about the foreign names of article subjects and their respective meanings in those languages into an article. This template should be in a section called "Names in other languages", and it should follow the order here.

If the Ita or ItaI parameters are present, a link to the Italian wiki will also be automatically added.

Parameters

The language's abbreviation and M (for Meaning) are parameters for this template. For languages written in another writing system, an additional abbreviation + R (Romanized) can be used. If you wish to include notes about a language, you can add the language and an N (for Notes), but you also must give a value to the "notes" parameter. The following languages are currently supported:

  • Jap (JapR, JapM, JapN) - Japanese
  • Chi (ChiR, ChiM, ChiN) - Chinese
  • ChiTrad (ChiTradR, ChiSimpM, ChiTradN) - traditional Chinese
  • ChiSimp (ChiSimpR, ChiSimpM, ChiSimpM) - simplified Chinese
  • Dut (DutM, DutN) - Dutch
  • Fra (FraM, FraN) - French
  • FraA (FraAM, FraAN) - NOA French
  • FraE (FraEM, FraEN) - NOE French
  • Ger (GerM, GerN) - German
  • Ita (ItaM, ItaN) - Italian
  • Kor (KorR, KorM, KorN) - Korean
  • Por (PorM, PorN) - Portuguese
  • PorB (PorBM, PorBN) - Portuguese from Brazil
  • PorP (PorPM, PorPN) - Portuguese from Portugal
  • Spa (SpaM, SpaN) - Spanish
  • SpaA (SpaAM, SpaAN) - NOA Spanish
  • SpaE (SpaEM, SpaEN) - NOE Spanish
  • Rus (RusR, RusM, RusN) - Russian
  • Ara (AraR, AraM, AraN) - Arabic
  • Cze (CzeM, CzeN) - Czech
  • Dan (DanM, DanN) - Danish
  • Fin (FinM, FinN) - Finnish
  • Heb (HebR, HebM, HebN) - Hebrew
  • Hun (HunM, HunN) - Hungarian
  • Nor (NorM, NorN) - Norwegian

The parameter ItaI can be used to specify the link to the Italian wiki's page, and if it is not present, the contents of Ita will be used instead.
