An image I uploaded on Pikmin Fandom that I want to keep here as well.

I have 6,456 edits.

Testimony

For a while I was on the Fandom wiki, but everyone agrees it's way better here instead. Even if the Fandom wiki is leaderless, I promise to not go back on my word and fill that vacuum. If anything, hopefully Fandom can make a small compromise by letting a general Nintendo or gaming wiki cover Pikmin instead? It's super niche and everyone goes here as the prime source of Pikmin info anyway...

While I would enjoy contributing here, rekindling the magic from 2 years ago with a certain editor here who might not like being mentioned on my userpage, I don't want to interfere with what's been established (after I got told off for not meeting editing guidelines or something). I take refuge here whenever I need connections to Pikmin gamers and even exchanged friend codes with someone!

And yes, do all of us a favor and support this website (looking at you, Fx Venny); it's backed by every single major Pikmin resource such as /r/pikmin and Pikcord, and it's run by people who actually work hard (rather than wait 20+ years to barely scrape 2,000 edits). This place does a proper job at unifying all contributors, even controversial ones as myself. Like a good leader does to his Pikmin. Even if you globally support Fandom.com for whatever reason, make an exception for this place: you won't regret it.

If you're dying to "edit in a vacuum" (if anyone does that on lesser used sources, it's me), the solution is not to start another Pikmin project, but rather to encompass it in a general Nintendo or video game wiki on Miraheze or something so that there's not "brand confusion" behind the mission of this website and its affiliates. Start even a Mario or Zelda project with Pikmin content if you must.

Sad story: I briefly lost a friendship here in 2024 because of feuds that occurred (you'll know if you put the 2 and 2 together). It was a miracle that it was restored, especially since I was rude, arrogant, and kind of abrasive toward the user. I threw around my weight while the user looked at me like I was a fool who needed to trip over--and that's exactly what happened. So I decided to log on here, and nobody had major issues with me here. I just need to be on my "best behavior".

In conclusion, as a person who's made hundreds of thousands of edits in his lifetime, not only on Fandom but also independent wikis, I genuinely ask you, the reader, to support this website. We'll figure out how to make it long-term. Support the mission of my friends here.
