-Unknown crystal like objects can be seen in multiple trailers of pikmin 4 it seems that the crystal objects can be held by pikmin like pieces of a bridge and brought to the ship its uses are getting upgrades from russ and in the june 2023 video it is seem that when you throw pikmin on a bridge it shows the crystal like objects needed it says 40 and then the pikmin go to the ship and get 40 mounds of dirt for the bridge so it seems like the crystals can be used to purchase/make other objects instead of pieces lying around
