We've always had no set limits on the number of personal images users can upload here; we just encourage them not to abuse the system since that's what it's for. However, an increasing number of users have been uploading far too many, and I'm thinking that if we had a limit in place, at least we would be able to say, 'see, look, this in our rules'. :Pikipedia isn't a social media website, it's a wiki for documenting Pikmin things. User images are allowed for people's user pages and signature, to give them some personality. Maybe there can be one or two other creative uses of user images, but in a wiki, that's not very likely. The idea of a wiki isn't for people to use their user page like a meme gallery, filled with their favorite images. There are other websites out there that do a better job at that. | |||
