;Neutral special attack – Pikmin Pluck:This move allows Olimar to pluck a Pikmin, of which there can exist up to six for one player. The type of Pikmin plucked is not noticeably dependent on the area picked in. This move can only be performed on the ground, and using it while running with five or fewer Pikmin stops Olimar instantly.

Purple Pikmin, however, do not do damage, but deliver knockback to the foe. White Pikmin are very useful for this attack. They do three times more damage then any other Pikmin. It should be noted that Yellow Pikmin fly slowly, less far, and with a high arc. White Pikmin are thrown fast and horizontal, and Purple Pikmin are thrown short.
 
*Olimars down tilt special attack is Pikmin Whistle. This move allows Olimar to call any stray Pikmin to him, and organize Pikmin by color. After the Pikmin are organized, this move rearranges Pikmin (if Blue Pikmin were at the front and he used this, white Pkmin would move ot the front and blue Pikmin would moe to the back). Pikmin change in order just like in Pikmin 2, that is, Red, Yellow, Blue, White, Purple. A unforseen benefiet to this move it that for a few frames while he is about to blow his whistle, he is invulnerable to knockback, thoug he can still take damage and can still be grabbed. This is very benefical because Olimar can counter attack faster then he would if he shielded.
 
*Olimars up tilt special attack is Pikmin Chain, whereby he throws his Pikmin at a 45° angle. This move has excellent range, and fair knockback and range. It is best used as a surprise attack, and is fast and efficent. Using this move does NOT change the order of the Pikmin. The main purpose of this move is as a recovery (that is, to get back on the stage after being kncoked off). This move has incredible range if there are six ikmin at your side, but has one flaring weakness: if a opponent is grabbing the ledge, Olimar's Pikmin Chain does not have the ability to grab the ledge. This can be countered by throwing a Purple Pikmin at the ledge, knocking off the opponent. This move's range is dependt on the number of Pikmin at Olimar's side.
