Defeating a Bearded Amprat is fairly simple, as they have no form of defense against Yellow Pikmin. Players should use only this type of Pikmin, and just throw as many Yellow Pikmin as possible onto the Bearded Amprat.
Use Yellow Pikmin, as it has an electric defense, and make sure you use a lot, because it grabs Pikmin off of it and proceeds to eat them, and this is very annoying and hard to avoid, so you can either call them to you quickly, or use several Pikmin.
