Don't get me wrong, the Pikmin themselves don't look half bad, certainly better than what I'd do, but... again, no offense... it looks like wallpaper from a kindergarten. Unless you just created that as a sketch, to later be replaced by some official artwork, in that case, withdrawn. Skipping that discussion, I agree with you when he said that the text might distract from the text on pages.
