::::::Sorry, but I'll have to reject that. I was thinking of something that included official artwork. We cannot have user-generated content like that on the background of every single page. Don't get me wrong, the Pikmin themselves don't look half bad, certainly better than what I'd do, but... again, no offense... it looks like wallpaper from a kindergarten. Unless you just created that as a sketch, to later be replaced by some official artwork, in that case, withdrawn. Skipping that discussion, I agree with you when he said that the text might distract from the text on pages.
