Revision as of 14:14, April 27, 2021

This is a list of officially licensed Pikmin plushes.

World of Nintendo Pikmin plushes

The World of Nintendo line, created by Jakks Pacific, released a collection of Pikmin plushes. These were sold in sets of multiple series, along with other Nintendo characters. The Pikmin plushes themselves are approximately 19 cm tall. The Red Pikmin and Winged Pikmin were available in their leaf stage, with the Yellow Pikmin and White Pikmin both having a flower. The Blue Pikmin is the only plush with a bud.

Notes
  • The Winged Pikmin plush is called "Pink" Pikmin; this is believed to be an error.
  • A Purple Pikmin plush was "leaked" by Amazon in November of 2016[1]; however, it's not guaranteed to ever be released.

Club Nintendo Pikmin plushes

Exclusively released in July 2013 for two thousand points on Europe's old reward system, Club Nintendo, this set consists of a leaf Red Pikmin, a flower Yellow Pikmin, and a bud Blue Pikmin.

Note
  • Some reviewers of Pikmin 3 received these for free as a bonus.

Sanei Pikmin plushes

In April 20th, 2002, nine Pikmin plushes were released by the Japanese Company Sanei. The plushes consisted of the first three Pikmin plushes each with either a leaf, bud, or flower.

Pikmin 2

On April 29th, 2004, they re-released and re-tagged the first set of plushes to focus on Pikmin 2, as well as releasing 9 more plushes. These new plushes consisted of Purple and White Pikmin, each with either a leaf, bud, or flower variant, as well as a plush for Captain Olimar, Louie, and a red Bulborb. The Red Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, Olimar, and Louie plushes are all approximately 7 inches, while the Purple is approximately 9 inches, the White is approximately 6 inches, and Bulborb is approximately 10 inches.

All Star Collection

On April 10th 2018 they released a brand new set of plushes to presumably focus on Pikmin 3 or Hey! Pikmin. This set contains new versions of the first three types of Pikmin; red, yellow and blue. Excluding the Purple and White Pikmin, it now has the Rock and Winged Pikmin. The Red Pikmin has a leaf, the Yellow Pikmin has a bud, and the Blue Pikmin has a flower, the Rock and Winged Pikmin both have the new purple flowers introduced in Pikmin 3. Those five Pikmin are also joined by a new version of the Olimar and Bulborb plushes from the second release. Olimar's suit is now a softer, felt-like material and includes a few more details that the original didn't have, when as the Bulborb has minor adjustments like the eyes and back spots no longer being stitched on but instead what appears to be more felt - also there's now a little bit of red on its legs.

Pikmin keyring plushes and plush containers

In 2013, Sanei released a similar lineup of smaller 5-inch figures that also included a keying. The set contained a Red leaf Pikmin, a budded Yellow Pikmin, a flowered Blue Pikmin, a budded Purple Pikmin, and a flowered White Pikmin. They also released three Pikmin plushes at the same time which acted as containers. These included a Red Pikmin with a grassy box, a Blue Pikmin with a mug, and a Yellow Pikmin with a log-cup.

Taito pluck-able Pikmin plushes

These plushes, made by Taito, were only released in Japan. The set consists of a flower Red Pikmin, a leaf Yellow Pikmin, and a bud Blue Pikmin. The plushes, when placed into the dirt blocks, stand 12.7 cm tall and come with a metallic loop, allowing them to be hung. They can be pushed into and partially pulled out of their dirt blocks, allowing them to be "plucked from the ground".

Note
  • Though the Pikmin can be pulled out of their dirt blocks, they're still attached with a string, meaning this gimmick only functions in a limited range of motion.

Banpresto Pikmin plushes

In late May 2002, Banpresto released ten Pikmin plushes as amusement prizes. The set consists of leaf, bud, and flower varieties of the Red, Blue, and Yellow Pikmin, as well as a Bulborb. The Pikmin stand 15 cm tall, and the Bulborb stands 18 cm tall.

The plushes have a zipper on the back, allowing things to be put inside, and a loop on the top for hanging them.

These plushes were released at the same time as the Pikmin pouch plushes. They are roughly 130 cm tall and use a slightly altered design of the pouch plushes but with no zipper on the back.

There is also a Bulborb plush, which is around 23 cm tall. The Bulborb's mouth acts as a sort of small pouch, allowing Pikmin to be put inside, among other things. The Pikmin plushes are made of a silky fabric, while the Bulborb is more felt-like, with actual hard buttons for the white spots on a Bulborb's back. These plushes were never made commercially available, but were rather given out as free gifts, presumably as prizes at Japanese game festivals.

Sekiguchi magnetic Pikmin plushes
