They can usually be found in [[cave]]s, although they are present in the [[areas|overworld]] as well, commonly placed inside [[Gate|bramble gates]] or [[bridge]]s, functioning as a means of only allowing [[White Pikmin]] to be used to break down the gate. However, two thirds of the gate can still be taken down with non-Whites, by throwing them on top of the gate and having them break the wall down from the top.
