Hostile Territory is a Pikmin 2 arena for 2-player battle. It is also one of the areas with a mass number of enemies.
Area Contains:
- Eggs
- Blowhogs (fiery and watery)
- Anode Beetles,
- Careening Dirigibugs
- Bomb rocks
- Cherries (From the sky)
- Yellow Marbles (Some buried in the ground)
Hazards:
- Electric nodes
- Fire
- Water
Dangers:
- Throwing Pikmin into the endless void.
Strategies:
- Unlike the single player game, you can pick up large bomb-rocks by simply by walking up to them.
- When your opponent is occupied and cannot react, you can get rid of a number of his/her Pikmin by throwing a bomb-rock at a group of idle Pikmin. Note that bomb-rocks are thrown further than the pointer's reach.
Kill Rival Pikmin Fast: This is simple, just pick up a bomb-rock, get your opponents pikmin to attack you, and detonate the bomb-rock. Just make sure not to kill yourself in the process.
