Schnauz is a [[treasure]] appraiser. Rescuing him unlocks the [[Treasure Catalog]]. His name alludes to {{w|Schnauzer}}s. He is from the planet [[Siguray]]. When chatting to him after his rescue he reveals that he loves treasure both for its monetary value, and also for its sentimental value, although one line of dialogue suggests that the former is more important.{{cite quote|It's such a thrill to see how much these might sell for...
