Unknown Enemy 8 as seen in the 12.5.12 Nintendo Direct.

Unknown Enemy 8 is a crab-like creature that appears in a Pikmin 3 portion of a Nintendo direct shown on 12.5.12. It has one large claw, and is green with purple on the top of its body and on part of its large claw. It has bright yellow spots on its cheeks. Its stalky eyes come from the top of its head. When you throw Pikmin at it, Unknown Enemy will block your attacks with its enormous claw. It can also defend itself by blowing bubbles at your Pikmin, which will make them levitate for a long period of time until the bubble pops. This can also disable the captains, as well. It attacks by grasping multiple Pikmin with its claw and dropping them into its mouth.
