→‎Pikmin 2: Pikmin 2 predated Master of Illusion by 2 years, so there is absolutely no way the Luck Wafer is a reference to Master of Illusion.
(I have a hard time believing that's a reference to one specific game. Of the top of my head, I can name both Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings that have given years with Xs. This seems more a general convention than a specific reference.)
