Plus, I wouldn't really know where to start with Mac instructions, as I never even touched one. But there might be guides online; changing cursors is pretty easy. There's a solution for using the cursor only on specific pages. If you're using Firefox or Chrome, you can install custom CSS styles for sites (you might need some addons first). Most modern browsers probably also allow custom CSS in one way or another, regardless of operative system. In theory, shouldn't it be possible to add the cursor to the user preferences? Even though I don't use the cursor, it'd probably save a lot of trouble for the users.
