The Swooping Snitchbug is a creature present during both of Captain Olimar's expeditions to the Pikmin Planet. They are legless, round, flying insects that have evolved wing-like antennae as a means of locomotion. They attack by swooping down and grabbing prey. After carrying them for a few seconds, they violently throw them towards the ground. This action would harm most prey, whereas Pikmin are simply replanted and reverted to their original leaf-stem state.
How To Kill
Ultra-Bitter Spray Method
To do this, just use a bitter spray when it swoops down at you. It should freeze it, nad then swarm it with your pikmin. Only Problem: No Carcass.
Throw Method
The most commmon and only way to beat it in Pikmin 1. Just throw pikmin at i until it falls to the ground and then swarm.
Captains
Just use the Ultra-Bitter Spray Method, but attack it yourself. Otherwise, it is impossible, as it is flying.
