What should this category contain?

There seems to be disagreement about what this category should contain. Should it only contain articles, or should it contain both articles and categories? The first option would mean that the category would contain the articles about all Pikmin animated films, so it wouldn't be necessary to go to a subcategory to see some of the films like in the second option, but a disadvantage of the first option is that the category would mostly duplicate Category:Pikmin Short Movies. — Soprano_(talk) 04:27, October 25, 2025 (EDT)

I reckon that removing Category:Pikmin Short Movies would work, and all of the articles in that subcategory can be moved into this category. You'd also need to do something similar with the image categories > Category:Pikmin Short Movies artwork and Category:Close to You images < –Chazmatron, signing off! Removing that category to remove the duplication is an option, but considering that the Pikmin Short Movies are a major piece of Pikmin media with multiple articles about them, I think that category needs to exist. — Soprano_(talk) 18:36, October 25, 2025 (EDT)
