p3 contains a number of Mission Mode packs obtainable as downloadable content. These packs add some levels to the Collect treasure! and Battle enemies! modes. While these packs had to be bought from the Nintendo eShop, a small number of extra Mission Mode levels come for free when the player updates the game to a certain version. Since downloadable content became available for purchase, the Mission Mode button on the title screen has a bubble on top of it with the eShop icon. All of this DLC was offered as rewards on the My Nintendo website in July 2017 for a little over a month, with the 4 level packs costing 20 gold points and the 8 level pack costing 40 gold points. Since the Wii U eShop was shut down on 27, it is no longer possible to legitimately obtain the Mission Mode packs.
