I'll try to catalog all of my cutscenes inside the cockpit, so we can see how it changes as stuff happens in the game. I'd wager the cockpit's interior only changes according to the Sparklium you have, but this list might help come to a more accurate conclusion, if I'm wrong.

# Unlocked the radar, screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit stretch.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked 1-E, everything looks the same as the previous; he's even stretching, too.
# Unlocked sector 2, everything looks the same as the previous, except he's climbing up and down the ladder; screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit ladder.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked the 4th health bar, screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit stretch 2.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked 2-E, everything looks the same as the previous; he's even stretching with the same animation.
# Unlocked sector 3, everything looks the same as the previous, but he's at his chair; screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit chair.jpg|here]]. Note that while the lights under the control panels look different, this is because they're animated during the cutscene, and they gradually alternate between soft and bright.
# Unlocked the enemy logs, everything looks the same as the previous, except he's doing the ladder up/down animation again.
# Unlocked 3-E, everything looks the same as the previous, but he's once again at his chair.
# Unlocked the first jetpack extension, screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit chair again.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked 4-A at the same time as the previous, everything looks the same, except he's on his chair with his arms down just like in the one at the start of the game.
# Unlocked 4-E, but absentmindedly closed the cutscene before taking a picture. It seemed to look the same as the previous, and Olimar was doing stretches like in bullet point 2.
# Unlocked the last health upgrade, everything looks the same as the previous, and he's sitting at his chair with his arms down.
# Unlocked 5-A, everything looks the same as the previous, but he's drinking coffee while standing up, screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit coffee.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked the maximum jetpack extension, screenshot [[:File:S.S. Dolphin II cockpit coffee 2.jpg|here]].
# Unlocked 5-E, but completely forgot to check.
