The white candypop buds don't appear at all when revisiting the cave after 100% completing it. Is there a bug? 90.220.68.151 04:45, September 13, 2023 (EDT)

This is intended behavior. Since the one on sublevel 1 is found inside a hydro jelly (and hydro jellies don't respawn once a cave is complete), this one will never reappear. The one on sublevel 2 will reappear if you bring less than 50 White Pikmin with, otherwise it turns into an Ice Candypop Bud (this can happen on the first visit too if you discover White Pikmin elsewhere). It seems most Candypop Buds in the game have a similar behavior, we just haven't added it to most articles since testing it is tedious and for now it's best to just list the default color most players will see on a typical run through. RE: Ivory Candypop Bud in Sublevel 2

Been replaying the game again through Fierce Mode, and also ran into the aforementioned issue of no Candypop Buds. After some extensive testing, I found out some more new things about this cave 1) the first sublevel spawns an additional Ice Candypop Bud if you bring in 5 or less Ice Pikmin. 2) while playing on Fierce Mode, the Ivory Candypop Bud turned into an Ice Candypop Bud when I brought in the maximum amount of 60 Pikmin. Notably, I disabled Fierce Mode to raise my Pikmin cap from 60 to my current cap of 80. When bringing in 80 Pikmin, the Ivory Candypop Bud still appeared, presumably because I was still under the hard cap of 100. 3) the above statement is indeed true. if for some reason you bring in 50 white pikmin, even though they aren't listed as recommended, the Ivory Candypop also turns into an Ice Candypop Bud

perhaps the trigger for being above a certain amount of a type of pikmin is also guaranteed to trigger to if you are at the hard cap of 100, or 60 in Fierce Mode. Which is weird for a "turn one candypop bud type into another type" trigger.
