I was wondering, should treasures (and by extension fruits) have naming sections in case people want to decipher their names? I remember I was quite young when I started Pikmin 2, and I couldn't figure out what some of the treasure names meant. I can handle this task if it's okay to start. :It sure is. Remember we have a policy on it. Frankly, I don't see this policy much as "mandatory rules required for consistency" as it is "list of things that would be nice to talk about in a naming section". I'm slowly working on the enemy names, and I'd move on to treasures next, but if you want to go ahead, please do! — {EspyoT} 08:35, 26 September 2015 (EDT)

::Thanks! For now I think I can only cover the English and internal names, I don't know how to find out the Japanese name unless the treasure is exclusive to the Japan version. Scruffy (talk) 09:56, 26 September 2015 (EDT)

:::Hmm, yeah, I think it'll be tricky. We can check the game's string files, but they're a bit hard to read. Or play a Japanese copy and try to copy the characters we read on the Treasure Hoard. Well, we can leave that for later, then. — {EspyoT} 10:13, 26 September 2015 (EDT)

Pages and log entries for Hey! Pikmin treasures
I'm guessing the answer is yes, but are we planning on making individual pages for the treasures from Hey! Pikmin and linking to them from this page? I don't mean to rush anything, cause I know the game just came out a few days ago and information on it is just now coming in. I already have the names and log entries for all the treasures (and the Olimar amiibo) from the U.S. version of the game ready to be added, since I finished the game yesterday. I'm a new user, so I just wanted to touch base before trying anything. I'll have to familiarize myself with adding new pages and basic editing, but I'd be happy to help with content from the new game. Midnight blue (talk) 22:12, 30 July 2017 (EDT)
:Welcome! Yep, the idea is to have one article per treasure. Feel free to create them at will; when you're presented with the text box where you write the new article's content, there should be some buttons that preload a treasure article outline. You can use that to get one step ahead. — {EspyoT} 04:04, 31 July 2017 (EDT)
::Right, now after looking around for a while, I have a potentially embarrassing question: how exactly do I create the new articles? I don't see an option for doing so anywhere on the side menus, and I don't get any option to create new pages when searching for an article that doesn't exist. I have noticed a few pages for some treasures that don't have any text in them (ie. have a yellow link), but it says I don't have permission to create those pages. Is it because I'm a new user? Midnight blue (talk) 19:14, 31 July 2017 (EDT)
:::Don't be afraid to ask. There's a button to create new pages with on the main page, but the ways you used also work. Unfortunately, very new users cannot create pages. I'll see what we can do about lowering this restriction (which only existed because of spambots). — {EspyoT} 05:48, 1 August 2017 (EDT)

"Actions" in Pikmin 4
In Pikmin 4, some treasures can preform Actions, such as the Stone of Advancement opening and closing, and the Mechanical Harp playing a song. Should this be documented? GoldPikmin (talk) 00:42, September 12, 2023 (EDT)

Update treasure names to the ones in the Switch port of Pikmin 2
To remain consistent with the renamed enemies matching their current names, I suggest renaming the article names for certain Pikmin 2 treasures to match their new names in the Switch port. 104.28.57.219 23:13, April 25, 2024 (EDT)
