Me and the community's ideals have become incompatible, since they're long past the old days of the 2000s, and I was privately urged to move on from the community a few years ago. Power Tennis

I dwell in wiki content made in the 2000s and have been awakened by you working on Mario Power Tennis content. thank you for your help and all and for making fresh png screencaps so i don't have to take out a loan from goosespeeder to get a state-of-the-art computer to run Dolphin, and also so that me and my buddies and splash around with the screnshots for fun. though i can't help but notice that some of the newer file uploads were over a jpg... (e.g. this screenshot). it felt like a personal attack on my values so i'm inclined to invoke the gfdl on my compendium (the true form of preserving 00s pre-NIWA SMW) and add the original screenshot from xiahou ba to give it the respect it deserves, not a png disguised as a jpg. :(

i caught wind the wiki likes to preserve the look of older revisions. thats also going to attract attention from me, and i will always find a way to get the message across bcuz im rmv and I live in the MediaWiki software. I think that's likely why the jpgs went untouched aside from a blasphemous PNG disguised as a JPG. Why look at this broken af revision when you can see a dedicated recreation here. I made the recreation for the community hoping that they'd like it, as it solves a problem with broken older revisions, and the authors and edit logs are perfectly preserved!! If no one on SMW likes it, I'll add it to my growing pile of relentless complaints that the website doesn't like their early days, meaning i have to like it for them!!! DDDDD:

p.s. sry pikipedia staff it's kind of related to pikmin if you think about how editors all around NIWA use state-of-the-art emulators for GameCube screenshots. Results May Vary (talk) 20:22, February 5, 2026 (UTC)
