The Iridescent Flint Beetle is an enemy in the Pikmin games. They were to be attacked by throwing a Pikmin on or near it to make it drop useful objects, and different descriptions are provided for this creature.
Pikmin 1
In Pikmin 1, these bugs looked rather large than they do now. They were found more commonly, but not very helpful. Usually, they were found mostly in foliage, or some corner.
