Yellow Bulborbs are Bulborbs that were removed from the final game. A small version was also seen. Theories as to why this is so, or why there was such a color of Bulborb in the first place, include the following:
- They could have been the prototype of the Orange Bulborbs.
- There could have been three colors in development to match the three original Pikmin colors; this explains the Blue Bulborb.
