I think it means the presence and absence of wings, which might mean the snarrow has wings. -{{User:Pikmin Expert/sig}}

I know we can't update the page until the game is released and we can see proper, but I think the new "baby snagret" enemies are actually examples of the Burrowing Snarrow, at least, if Olimar's Notes about wing markings match up with the apparent nubs on the side of the baby snagrets' body.
