Milliseconds later the idea of "Pikcross" sprang to his mind. Professional nonogram games have a ton of features to make life easier for the player, but the Pikipedia team didn't have that much time or technical know-how to implement everything they wanted. For the sake of making just a simple game, some basic quality-of-life features were enough.
