The Distant Tundra is where Captain Charlie crashes and can only be reached by collecting the Data Glutton from the Armored Mawdad. You also find the Yellow Pikmin in this area. Upon the player's first visit, Alph accidentally crashes the ship (again) and Brittany is thrown overboard. It is also home to many fruits and the Vehemoth Phosbat, who went and ate Captain Charlie when he crashed here.
