Strange Insects

The Strange Insects are truly a mystery of Pikmin 2. They appear in the Wistful Wild every 30 days starting on day 31 (31,61,91, etc.). Though very small, they release poisonous gas that will intoxicate non-White Pikmin. When defeated, they drop numerous gobs of Ultra-Bitter Spray and Ultra-Spicy Spray. The most interesting thing about them is that they do not, in fact, appear in the piklopedia like other monsters. Due to their poisonous effects, some believe them to be infant doodlebugs, while others think they look like sheargrubs.
