Who chose the featured image? From what I know of I saw no votings or anything that to what the featured image should be. Perhaps we should create a Forum or a talk for voting featured images, selected/all users could choose an image of their choice, along with the reasons for their choice and a support, oppose and comments section for possible voting. Votings could last, say, a week? Then the highest voted voted or critically acclaimed one are chosen to become featured pictures. Similarly to how Super Mario Wiki does it.
