In {{pb}}, the '''detector''' allows the player to find [[expeditions]].

The detector is found on the [[map]] screen. It can be used once per day, and recharges at midnight. The player can also recharge the detector with 100 [[coin]]s.

Using the detector will return between 2 to 5 nearby expeditions. The amount of expeditions found is random.

In addition to finding expeditions, the detector can show the player what types of [[Decor Pikmin]] can be found nearby, and where. Up to 5 Decor Pikmin icons will be shown nearby.
