As with most Dwarf Bulborb species, they are actually members of the [[breadbug family]], who mimic a species of Bulborb – in this case, the [[Orange Bulborb]] – to evade predation. Just like the Bulborbs they copy, they are very perceptive, noticing [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] at a greater distance than regular [[Dwarf Bulborb]]s. Despite this, they are still rather weak enemies, and can be very quickly dispatched by [[throw]]ing a [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] onto their backs.
