Event: Difference between revisions

From {{date|22|April}} to {{date|30|April|2024}}, a unique event type of event took place. During the event period, all players were tasked with 3 large amounts of total flowers planted as a community. * The three milestones progressively increased. If 3,000,000,000 total flowers were planted, all players were given a Huge Seedling for a random forest-type Decor Pikmin. If 6,000,000,000 total flowers were planted, all players were given a Huge Seedling for a random beach-type Decor Pikmin. If the final goal was reached, being 10,000,000,000 total flowers, all players were given a Huge Seedling for a White Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin.

** The Huge Seedlings could not be obtained if the game was not open before {{date|6|May|2024}}.

The 2024 Playing Cards event took place from {{date|1|May}} at 00:00 until {{date|31|May|2024}} at 23:59 local time. Features of this event included:

* The event introduced a new [[Decor Pikmin]] set, with 2 types for each of the seven Pikmin types, totaling 14 new Decor Pikmin. These Decor Pikmin hold different types of {{w|Playing cards|Playing Cards}} with the Diamond suite, earned by completing event challenge missions and collecting Diamond Cookies.

* Players could collect Diamond Cookies to obtain exclusive [[Mii]] outfits and [[Seedling#Gold Seedling|Gold Seedlings]] for Red, Yellow, and Blue [[Decor Pikmin#Playing Card|Playing Card]] Decor Pikmin.

** Diamond Cookies were obtained from completing event challenge missions, planting flowers, and from destroying [[Mushroom battle#Bizarre mushrooms|Bizarre mushrooms]].

* Players could also complete challenge missions to obtain rewards at random. These could range from Diamond Cookies to Gold Seedlings for Purple, White, Rock, and Winged Playing Card Decor Pikmin, and other items.

** In addition, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage bloomed, players were guaranteed to obtain a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

** As the rewards were random, it was not guaranteed that players would complete the whole set of Decor Pikmin.

* The Premium Event Pass was available for {{icon|Coin}} 999 coins in the [[shop]] and featured the same perks as usual.

* Bizarre mushrooms appeared throughout this event, and rewarded players with Mystery Boxes when defeated.

** Mystery Boxes contained items such as Diamond Cookies, [[Petal|flower petals]], and other rewards.

** [[Decor Pikmin#Playing Card|Playing Card]] Decor Pikmin were the strongest against these mushrooms.

* Additionally, on weekends during the events, players encountered Giant Bizarre Mushrooms that carried a rarer type of spring festival egg.

** Giant Mushrooms appeared on the following weekends:

* An Event Challenge Special Pack was available in the shop.

* A Special Mission Ticket for any type of Playing Card Decor Pikmin was also available in the shop from {{date|15|May}} at 00:00 to {{date|2|June|2024}} at 23:59 local time.

** When the dedicated mission was completed, players obtained a Gold Seedling of their desired color for their selection of Playing Card Decor Pikmin.

** The mission must have been completed by {{date|31|July|2024}} at 23:59 local time.

* Gold Seedlings obtained by inviting people to play Pikmin Bloom from {{date|1|May}} and {{date|31|May|2024}} grew into any type of Playing Card Decor Pikmin.
