Is there any way someone could remove the sale pitch, journal, cook book, & stats info pages from the random page button? I mean, i think it would make sense if it linked to articles only. Idunno. IAMAHIPO_ocolor 01:47, 22 June 2011 (EDT)

I agree, but don't know of a way. Maybe putting them in their own namespace (notes: or something), but that's a lot of work. Oh, and it would probably keep them out of other special pages, like shortpages and dead ends.GP
I was gonna say that putting them in a namespace would work well, but then you added that... I did a very quick Google search, and I couldn't find any plugins or the like... Sounds like there's no way to do this. {EspyoT} 20:08, 24 June 2011 (EDT)
Really late, but what do you mean, plugins? GP 05:55, 10 November 2011 (EST)
You know, wiki plugins, like the <youtube> tag. I imagined there could be one such plugin that restricted the namespaces in Special:Random, but I didn't find anything at the time. {EspyoT} 08:57, 10 November 2011 (EST)
...Oh. First, they're called extensions. Second, special:random already only uses the main namespace. Third, that wouldn't help anyway because notes are in the main namespace (ATM). GP 17:09, 10 November 2011 (EST)
Goh what? I'm so dumb... Of course they don't use namespaces... Bah. They're subpages. I wasn't even paying attention when I wrote that. And I've heard them being called "plugins"... No matter. {EspyoT} 18:12, 10 November 2011 (EST)
