Mitite

Mitites are enemies found in Pikmin 2. They are helpless, but not harmless. They resemble small, pink creatures with white shells and five legs to move around. When you step on wherever they're buried, 10 of them will then come out and scuttle around, sending both themselves and the Pikmin into a panic. They are also found in eggs on the ground and in Honeywisp eggs. They will eventually burrow back unless killed. The best way to kill them is to throw Purple Pikmin onto them (any color will work, but purple ones send out shockwaves that kill the surrounding Mitites). They will drop nectar when killed, which makes them slightly valuable if you want flowered Pikmin, especially if you are able to kill all of them. If you are trying to get Pokos, they are also effecient. The reason Mitites are found inside eggs is because they lay their eggs inside the eggs of other organisms through the symbiosis of parasitism.
