During a Nintendo press conference in October 2008, the games were announced, along with the details that it will include the two Pikmin games.[1] On November 1st, the re-release of Pikmin in North America was confirmed,[2] and the game has a Febrary 6th 2009 European release date.[3] It has since been announced that the release date for Pikmin in Japan is 25th December, 2008.[4] It has been announced that Pikmin will be rereleased in North America in March 2009.[5] Currently, Pikmin 2's re-release is expected to arrive in 2009.
