According to the Piklopedia, both the various Pikmin and the Startle Spore belong to the Ambuloradicis class. Now, the term "Ambuloradicis" was only introduced in ''Pikmin 4'', but the Creeping Chrysanthemum's notes say it belongs to the same "group of creatures with ambulatory root structures" as Pikmin. So I looked up the Japanese version of the notes, and the term used is {{j|歩根類|hokonrui}}, meaning something like "walk-root class", the same name as the Ambuloradicis in Pikmin 4.
