The Dandelion is a rare, yellow-petaled plant in the first two [[Pikmin series|''Pikmin'' games]]. It only appears on [[The Forest of Hope]], the [[Awakening Wood]] and the [[Snagret Hole]], as well as some [[Challenge Mode (Pikmin 2)|Challenge Mode]] locations. It serves merely for decoration.

Scientific name: ''Taraxacum ventulus''

The Seeding Dandelion is a [[plant]] in ''Pikmin 2'', ''Pikmin 3'', and ''Hey! Pikmin''. In the main games, it is even rarer than the [[Dandelion]], appearing only on the [[Perplexing Pool]] and the [[Sniper Room]]. If it's touched, some of its seeds detach and float away. In ''Hey! Pikmin'', it is much smaller, and Pikmin that touch it stop walking and jump in, until the player whistles them again. Seeds nearly identical to the ''Pikmin 2'' and ''Pikmin 3'' versions can also be seen in cutscenes.
